Morgan's copy with his name of the title page (n14) T.P.L. 3065. Includes "The proceedings of the Upper Canada Medical Board from its organization, 1819 to 1850; and of The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Upper Canada, 1839-41.; also, Biographical sketches [nearly 300] of early physicians of the province with many references to early events in the history of Upper Canada. A standard historical reference work, the author was a prominent physician and surgeon. He was a medical officer in the Crimea and was professor of pathology and surgeon at Victoria College, subdean of Toronto Medical School and the first medical health officer in Toronto. Item #27525
