This volume includes 33 Reports, published in facsimile, relating to Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and the Company; land grants; the church and Clergy Reserves; populations and emigration; post offices; colonial government; water communications; crown revenues; and imports & exports (Newfoundland). Canal building was active during this period and a number of the Reports deal with this including detailed maps: the Shuben-Acadie , the Rideau and Carillon Canal canals and proposals for the Welland Canal. The Reports are unabridged and printed in their entirety. The editors have included a continuous pagination for ease of reference.
