Richard Deakin was a British medical doctor and Robert Marnock was the curator of the Sheffield Botanical and Horticultural Gardens. The series was published in a four volume set in 1841 this being part of Volume One. It includes a chapter "On Preserving Dried Specimens." Item #32730
