Du Creux's book, one of the rarest items of Canadiana, covers the period from 1625 to 1658, and was published in Paris in 1664 in a sumptuous edition by the Cramoisy Press, which had long been connected, through the printing of the Relations, with the Society of Jesus and their mission in New France.
