(sgc) The prize bookplate reads: "Sergeant A.G.G. Wurtele. Prize. - MilitaryTopography and Civil Surveying . VI Class. January 1878." (withhand-colour R,M.C. crest). Alfred George Godfrey Wurtele was in thefirst graduating class from R.M.C., one of the "Old Eighteen".
