PROVENANCE: With the heraldic book-plates of American entrepreneur, Marshall Field, founder of the Chicago-based department store chain, Marshall Field & Company (later Macy's). Note*. The black title labels have turned to a light brown and somewhat match the spine colour (perhaps an original glue problem as the spines are not faded) all stamping is clear.
