This little volume was printed at the parish of Saint-Philippe, under the auspices of the Cure, Francois Pigeon, 1778-1838, who had established a printing press there in the early 1820's. Here he published a number of small works for the use of schools and houses of instruction, and a short-lived newspaper in 1826, the Journal de Saint-Philippe. Item #37851
