The Justices having observed, for some time past, that a great number of persons have been in the habit of bringing provisions and divers other articles to the Markets in this City on Wednesday, and thinking that is would tend to the public benefit if another market day were established, besides the three days in each week fixed by the Regulations of Police. It is, therefore, ordered that Wednesday in each week shall; in future, be considered as a public market day, and that all persons who may bring articles to either of the Markets of this City, on the said day, shall be subject to the existing regulations respecting the said Markets. The forgoing regulation hath been taken into consideration by the Justices of His Majesty's Court of King's Bench for the District of Montreal, during the sitting of the said Court on the present term of June 1810, and by them approved and confirmed.
