Late The 100th Prince of Wale's Royal Canadian Regimentm descended from The 100th Prince Regent's County of Dublin Regiment of Foot disbanded in Canada in 1818: And The 109th Foot formerly The Honourable East India Company's 3rd Bombay European Regiment: To which were added in 1881 as 3rd, 4th and 5th Battalions respectively The King's County Militia and The Royal Meath Militia: And the 6th and 7th Service Battalions raised in 1914 on the Outbreak of the Great War.
