Being 38 steel engraved plates, [1857?]. 17x 23cm, (6½"x 9").. image size is general 13.5x 20.5cm (5½" x 8¼"), this is slightly smaller plate size than of the original 1857 edition and is printed on lighter weight paper, a few are trimmed, several have a marginal damp stain, a few have some foxing but on the whole they are good clear images ... the lot.
