Munn a business man, he was a keen student of Newfoundland history and was one of the guiding figures in the Newfoundland Historical Society. 'A description of every publication which has noticeably influenced the popular or the scholarly conceptions of John and Sebastian Cabot.' - The forty-four page "Introductory Essay" is excellent.
