Reprinting the original 1910 edition which was limited to 100 sets. An important and thorough catalog. Murray (1849 - 1919) was an English art connoiseur, consultant and dealer, as well as being a respected portraitist. His friends included Rosetti, Burne-Jones, William Morris, and Ruskin. His book and manuscript collection, put together in just 7 years, began when he retired from art and sold most of the paintings. His collection was sold over a period of 8 years.
