Evans 30428. Sabin . Originally published in London, the work consists of thoughts, prayers and reflections from the Scriptures directed to seamen. Each chapter is divided into an Observation ("...many sail of ships are sent yearly to the American parts of the world; as New-found-land, New-England, &c."); an Application, and a Reflection, or prayer. The author was an English Presbyterian, and his works were highly praised by Cotton Mather. This is the second American edition, and the first one published by Blunt.
