A very early bibliography of the seventeenth century by Philippe Labbe (1607-1667), prolific French Jesuit writer of history, geography and philosophy. ~ ~ "BIBLIOTHECA NUMMERIA" is preceded by lectures on books ("Latina, Attica, Graece, Latinam ex duodecim inciis"), by English jurist and antiquarian, John Selden (1584- 1654). Interesting publication by London bookseller and printer, Moses Pitt (1639-1697) noted for his publishing books of learned content and in particular his "Atlas of the World" (1681).
