~ One plate by Ackerman is dated 1827. An impressive series of views, particularly the views of Spain and the Alhambra by David Roberts. Although most of the small engravings are anonymous, other credited full-page engravings are by Tomlinson, Jennings, Prout, Havell and Vernet. Inscribed by former book owner Janet Hunter Doughty - "A scrap-book of my father and mother's...restored to me after long years by my sister - Nov. 22 1937". An impressive collection.
