Provenance: This copy from C.R. Morphy's collection, with his printed name sticker on the front endpaper "C.R. Morphy, Ottawa". It also contains the original invoice from "The George Gregory Book Store, Antiquarian Booksellers., 8 Green Street, Bath (Eng). Spet 19, 1955". With payment receipt sticker attached. On the inside paste-down endpaper in pencil "This Edition - 50 Copies Only". There is no printed limitation notice. Morphy's ms. catalgoue would indicate he thought it was limited to 50 copies, as that is noted. "This sumptuous edition, printed at the Chiswick Press. ...(Jacket). Anecdotal stories of fishing both in New England and Canada illustrated by the author's own drawings of natural and artificial flies. Includes chapters on "Trout in New York State and Canada" and "Salmon on the Kedgwick " (i.e., New Brunswick).
