Walden lived in Nova Scotia, memoirs of fishing in northern USA and Canada; a Nova Scotia witer on fishing , Walden died at 84. Mr. Walden wrote ''Upstream and Down,'' ''Angler's Choice: An Anthology of American Trout-Fishing'' and ''Deep Pool.'' His stories were included with those by Izaak Walton, Henry David Thoreau and Ernest Hemingway in collections about fishing.
